Our automated distribution center in Tilburg is open since 2021 and we supply all our 21 stores. Additionally, customers from the Netherlands, Belgium, parts of France, Germany and even Ireland also receive their orders through our warehouse. There are currently working 300 teammates in our warehouse. Together with our robots, it makes us Decathlon's most modern distribution center ever.

Working within Decathlon means that you will develop yourself. Even if you only have a 8-hours contract. On a monthly basis you have individual conversations with your manager (we call it leader by the way) who can support and challenge you in the field of both professional and personal development. 

ABOUT THE JOB

We have 18 different department and all of the departments have their specific processes. This varies from picking, packing, returns and other departments. You will be part of one team with your own leader. However, we can ask you to work on other departments as well. If you have experiences in one of our processes (as a logistics employee) or have a preference for a department, please mention this in your application.

We are searching for new colleagues who can work during the summer holidays, and preferably can start working before (8-16 hours per week).

For our part time employees we work with 3 shifts where you could work. These are:
1) 09.00 - 13.00
2) 18.00 - 23.30
3) 19.30 - 23.30

WHAT ARE YOUR DAILY TASKS?

• This depends on the department you are working at

• You pick and pack order, and make them ready for transport

• You are active, you will reach your daily step goals easily. You will change processes regularly

• You think along with the company and department. You'll add value to the efficiency of our processes

• You work in a clean work environment

• You bring some positive energy and vibe to our warehouse!

WHAT DO WE OFFER

• Salary = €13,40 per hour (gross)

• Holiday bonus (8% of your gross salary)

• 24 vacation days, possibility to buy 4 more

• 20% discount on our own brands (in the Netherlands)

• Monthly bonus based on (national) performance

• Saturday and evening (after 10 pm) allowance of 50%

• Sunday allowance of 100%

• Monthly meeting/evaluation with your leader

• Travel allowance (0.21 ct/km for a maximum of 30km single trip)

WHAT DO WE WANT TO SEE WHEN YOU APPLY WITH US?

• Passion for sports! ???????????

• Available at least for 2 days per week

• Available during one of the weekend days

• Available in one of the shifts: 1) 09.00 - 13.00, 2) 18.00 - 23.30 or 3) 19.30 - 23.30

• You are inhibitant of the Netherlands or one of the EU countries

• You speak and read the English language.

• We are searching for new co workers who can work part time now (8-16 hours), but can work more during peak season (June/July/August)

• You are preferably not on holiday during June/July/August (max. 1 week)

You need a valid visa/work permit to work for us
